Sky Business Matchday GOAT Competition
Terms and Conditions
1. Promoter
The promoter is Sky UK Limited (company number 02906991), trading as Sky Business, with its registered office at Grant Way, Isleworth, Middlesex, TW7 5QD (“Sky” or “the Promoter”).
2. Eligibility
This Promotion is open to licensed premises (e.g. pub, bar or similar) that meet all of the following conditions:
a. Are located in the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland;
b. Are current Sky Business TV customers with an active Sky Sports subscription;
c. Are Independent, Leased and Tenanted Pubs or part of a Managed Pub Group or Chain. Submit a valid nomination for an individual who works for or at a licensed premises (e.g. a member of staff working in a pub, bar or similar venue), is resident of the United Kingdom or the Republic of Ireland and is aged 18 or over (proof of age may be required);
d. The person submitting the nomination must be aged 18 or over (proof of age may be required).
Nominations can be submitted by colleagues, customers, managers, themselves, or anyone familiar with the nominee’s work, as long as the information is true and accurate.
Exclusions:Employees (or their immediate families or household members) of Sky UK Limited, its group companies, or third parties directly involved with the Promotion are not eligible to be nominated or to enter. Pubs that are part of a managed estate or hospitality group are also not eligible to enter.
The Promotion opens at 00:01 on 19 May 2025 and closes at 23:59 on 8 June 2025. Entries received after this time will not be considered.
4. How to Enter
To enter, submit a nomination via the official competition page at areyouthegoat.sky.com including:
– Your contact details
– The name and details of the person you’re nominating
– A short written explanation of why they deserve to be recognised as the “Matchday GOAT”
All entries must be genuine and made in good faith.
5. Entry Conditions
– Entry is free and no purchase is necessary.
– There is no limit to the number of entries per premises or per person.
– Entrants must have consent from the nominee before submitting.
– Incomplete, offensive, or false entries will be disqualified.
– Entries submitted via bots, automated systems or third-party platforms are not permitted.
6. Judging and Winner Selection
Winners will be selected by a judging panel appointed by Sky Business.
A total of 4 x GOAT winners which will be selected based on their entry, they will be selected by the judging panel. There will be an additional 6 runner up winners, which will be randomly selected.
Judging will be based on merit, taking into account:
– The nominee’s impact on matchday experience
– Originality, passion, and creativity shown
– The role they play in creating a welcoming, energetic atmosphere
– Supporting content such as photos, videos, or testimonials (if provided)
The relevance of the venue’s location in helping tell a compelling story – such as demonstrating how the nominee has created a meaningful fan experience in an unexpected or underserved area.All judging decisions are final, binding, and not subject to appeal.

FOOTBALL TICKETS
Prize package for 2 adults includes:
Travel allowance of £100 per person; 2 x Hospitality football tickets to a premiership game of winner’s choice, including lounge access prior to kick-off with buffet lunch, match tickets in a premium stand, half-time tea and coffee.
A VIP hospitality package for two people at a Premier League match, which includes: VIP match seats, access to the hospitality facility 2.5 hours before kick-off and up to 1 hour after the final whistle, private tables (subject to availability), buffet lunch, matchday programme and team sheet. Exact inclusions may vary depending on location.
Games are subject to availability.
The winner must claim the prize within 12 months from when they are contacted.
Tickets can be provided for most UK Premier League fixtures, subject to availability. Exclusions apply: the prize does not include tickets to finals, local derbies, or the following high-demand games: Liverpool v Manchester United, Manchester City, Everton, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur; Manchester United v Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal; Chelsea v, Tottenham Hotspur, Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City; Arsenal v Tottenham Hotspur, Manchester United; Manchester City v Manchester United, Liverpool, Chelsea; Tottenham Hotspur v Arsenal, Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City. The Prize Provider reserves the right to exclude additional matches at their discretion.
Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; All prize elements are subject to availability and must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where specified above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize. RUGBY SUPER LEAGUE
Prize package for 2 adults includes:
2 x Hospitality tickets to the Rugby Super League final on 11 October 2025, including executive seats, pre-match 2-course meal; matchday programme; complimentary tea and coffee; Three-course dinner and drinks at a restaurant in Manchester, provided to a maximum value of £75 per person including service charge; £250 spending money; Return train travel from mainland UK rail stations to Manchester; Return private transfers between Manchester train and hotel; 1 night’s four-star hotel accommodation in Manchester, based on sharing a double or twin room, including breakfast;
Economy train travel from mainland stations in the UK only; Routings will be selected by Prize Provider and not all routings will be available; A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation; Hotel accommodation is based on two adults sharing one double or twin room; Hotel will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; All prize elements are subject to availability; Travel must take place from 11 – 12 October 2025; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; Both travellers must be aged 18 or over; The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where stated above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize.
CRICKET
Prize package for 2 adults includes:
2 x Hospitality tickets to one day of an international or county cricket fixture of winner’s choice, with options available nationwide, including dining and beverages. Travel allowance of £100 per person; 1 night’s four-star hotel accommodation in chosen location, based on sharing a double or twin room, including breakfast;
The prize is valid for 12 months from the date of winner notification, and all travel must be booked and completed within that time frame; The prize cannot be taken from 21st December – 2nd January (Christmas and New Year), over UK bank holidays or over Easter Sunday; A valid credit or debit card will be required for security deposit purposes when checking into hotel accommodation; Hotel accommodation is based on two adults sharing one double or twin room; Hotel will be selected by prize provider at their sole discretion; Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; All prize elements are subject to availability; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; Exact inclusions may vary depending on location and fixture chosen; Both travellers must be aged 18 or over; The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where stated above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize.
BRITISH GRAND PRIX
Prize package for 2 adults includes:
; One-day Grandstand tickets for the British Grand Prix, including general admission, entertainment zone access and evening concert; Travel allowance of £50 per person.
The prize must be taken during 2025 or 2026 British Grand Prix; Prize is non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; All prize elements are subject to availability; Tickets are subject to availability and the winner’s preferred day may not be available; All elements of the prize must be taken at the same time; Once booked, the prize cannot be altered or amended; Both travellers must be aged 18 or over; The prize excludes meals and drinks (except where stated above), excursions, attractions, treatments, car hire, visas and personal expenses and anything not expressly included in the prize.
The 6 x runner up winners will each receive the below tech bundle:

Delivery is available to addresses within the United Kingdom and Republic of Ireland;
Prizes are non-transferable and non-refundable; No cash alternative is available; We will endeavour to get products delivered to winners as quickly as possible; All prizes are subject to availability. In the event that any of the products listed above are unavailable, an alternative product of equal value will be provided; The winner is responsible for ensuring that any delivery note is checked on receipt; The prize excludes anything not expressly listed above.
7. Winner Notification
Winners will be contacted directly by email and/or phone using the information provided.
– Winners must respond within 7 days to accept the prize.
– If a winner cannot be reached, withdraws, or is unable to take part, a replacement may be selected at the Promoter’s discretion.
Winners may be required to confirm identity, workplace, and consent to further publicity.
8. Publicity and Content Use
By accepting the prize, each winner agrees to:
– Participate in photography, video, or other content creation arranged by Sky Business;
– Grant Sky a global, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, edit, publish, and distribute any submitted content, filmed material, or photographs for promotional purposes in any format, on any platform.
Winners waive any moral rights and agree not to object to lawful uses of their image or story.
9. Disqualification
Sky reserves the right to disqualify any entry or individual if:
– The nomination is found to be false or misleading;
– Any party behaves unlawfully, inappropriately, or contrary to the spirit of the competition;
– The nominee or nominator refuses participation in required publicity or verification.
Sky may award the prize to an alternative entrant if disqualification occurs.
11. Data Protection
Personal data provided will be used to administer the competition and manage prize fulfilment.

12. Marketing Consent
By ticking the marketing opt-in box at the point of entry, entrants agree to receive relevant news, offers and promotional communications from Sky. Marketing communications will be sent in accordance with Sky’s Privacy Notice.
Entrants can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting Sky directly.
13. General
– Sky accepts no responsibility for lost, late or technical failures of entry of any kind (including network, computer, hardware or software failures of any kind issues), which may restrict or delay in you sending your entry or us receiving it. Proof you sent an entry is not proof that you have entered the Promotion.
– We reserve the right of substitute a prize for a prize of equivalent or greater value if this is necessary for reasons beyond our control.
– This Terms and Conditions, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with it, will be governed by English law, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, in which case they will be governed by Scots law or Northern Ireland law (as applicable). Any disputes under these terms and conditions shall be dealt with by the courts whose law governs these terms and conditions, unless you live in Scotland or Northern Ire-land, in which case you can choose to bring a dispute before the courts in your country or the courts of England and Wales instead. For entrants resident in the Republic of Ireland, this Terms and Conditions and any related dispute or claim will be governed by Irish law and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Ireland.
